(In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful)
And hold fast, all of you together, to the Rope of Allah, and be not divided among yourselves, and remember Allah’s favor on you, for you were enemies of one another but He joined your hearts together, so that, by His grace, you became brethren, and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes His Ayat clear to you, that you may be guided (Ale Imran-103)
The story of the farmer and his quarreling sons is well known to everybody. The sons could easily break each stick separately. But when the sticks were tied into a bundle, nobody could break the bundle. From such an example, they learnt the lesson, that union is strength.
Before I actually understood the meaning of Itehad(Unity), I was made to step behind to understand Inzemaam.
Inzemaam to understand in simple terms is to dissolve sugar in water, the resultant is a sherbet(juice). The original property of neither the sugar nor water exists, rather a new product is formed.
Itehad on the other hand is you mix together different substances like cement ,Iron, Sand and they become one but holding onto their original properties.
We are Ummat e Wahida (One Nation), irrespective of our differences in race, color, country, the way we raise our hands in Salah(prayer) et al we are one in the belief that “La ilaha illallah Muhammadur Rasulullah” There is no GOD but ALLAH and Prophet Mohammed(sws) is the messenger of ALLAH”
The many social, political differences arising today amidst us is because we have considered this world to be a garden but have forgotten that this garden is for painful strains, Neither for enjoying the roses nor for making a nest.
Am I still sleeping?
The alarm is on, it’s a wake up call for the UMMAH.
